Quality engineering

Automation frameworks...

Most teams already know they need better QA. We help them actually get there.

QA rarely fails because nobody believed in it. It fails because quality work and feature work pull from the same sprint, the same budget, and the same three engineers.

So the roadmap says "automated regression before the next release." The repo has a test folder from an initiative that stalled two quarters ago, a CI job that's been skipped since it went red, and a regression checklist in a spreadsheet somebody runs by hand the night before ship.

01

Why it stalls

No dedicated headcount

QA is everyone's side job, so it's first to go when the sprint tightens.

Nobody's built a suite before

Strong product engineers, no automation experience.

Flaky tests nobody trusts

Once red means "rerun it," the signal is gone.

Abandoned at 30%

The champion changed teams and the work quietly stopped.

Manual regression drag

Every release costs days of hand-checking, so releases get bigger and rarer.

Customers are the regression suite

Support absorbs what testing missed.

02

Where you actually are

L1Ad hocManual, undocumented.
L2ScriptedSome tests, run by hand.
L3AutomatedSuite runs in CI.
L4GatedMerges depend on results.
L5OwnedYour team maintains it without us.

L5 is the goal. It's also the level most vendors have no incentive to get you to.

What we build

Automation frameworks that survive maintenance. Most coverage at the API layer, browser tests reserved for journeys that genuinely need a browser, page objects your engineers can read. Deterministic setup and teardown, so shared state stops causing phantom failures.

Pipeline integration and gating. Unit and lint on push. API suite plus smoke on the PR. Red means blocked at the merge gate, with a flake budget that's tracked, not tolerated. Full regression nightly on staging. Smoke checks after deploy.

Performance and load testing. k6 and JMeter. Find the ceiling before your users do.

Embedded QA and enablement. Our engineers inside your team, pairing until yours can add and debug tests themselves.
